Episode 15 // Jaime England of The Marketplace

From physical therapist to home store and coffee shop owner, Jaime England is telling the story behind what motivated her to take on the biggest storefront on Main Street in Manning, Iowa. Jaime works hard to provide a great small town shopping experience for her customers at The Market Place, and she's sharing how she's created a place worth driving to, how to get the word out about your new small town business, why it's important for young people to get involved in their communities. She also talks about the revival happening in her hometown, where young people are excited to get involved and how the town is creating things to keep people engaged and wanting to live there - so much so that 80% of their main street board is part of this new generation building their lives in Manning!

We chose this week to feature her town of Manning, Iowa on Rural Revival because it's the three year anniversary of her store opening. So, congratulations to Jaime and The Market Place on three amazing years, and many more to come! And be sure to check out the other stories we're sharing this week about the great things happening in Manning:
