“The roots, the love, and the deep connection to Lynchburg all runs through this house. And so I feel like I’m just so honored to be able to own it, to own a little piece of history in a place I love so much.”

- Kayla White

“We started a save the farm initiative in 2020 where we try to really dig into the importance of future generations saving their family farms, and really trying to dig into why their families farmed it for so long. So being from a century farm I was able to really connect with the drive these farmers have to really want to make sure they protect their land. And I think that starts with really sowing into the next generation, which would be my children.”

- Kayla White

“Community over competition, especially in a small town. How important is it to work together and to create and cultivate ideas together without worry that anyone’s feelings are going to be hurt or that you’re stepping on toes.”

- Kayla White

“When you live in a community as small as Lynchburg, you’re all knitted together in the same cloth. And so why not just work together and know that you’re all here for the same purpose.”

- Kayla White

“For this place it is all about the slow down of life. There’s no TVs in here, there’s no internet, there’s no wifi. It’s literally just about enjoying the people and the company you’re with.”

- Kayla White

“They’re gonna get the best experience ever. I don’t know how they’re going to take the name but they’re going to know this place is full of a hard-working family trying to fulfill their dreams as well as the guests’.”

- Kayla White

“We don’t let a New Years Eve go by without doing a vision board, because creating a vision for your future is when you start to see progress.”

- Kayla White
