On the surface, FMTC is a communications company bringing customers in rural southwest Iowa ultra-fast, ultra-reliable, unlimited internet, TV, and phone service. Their FCC regulated service areas of Stanton, Villisca, New Market, Nodaway, and Bethesda got fiber to the home in 2016, and now FMTC has set its sights on bringing fiber to unserved customers in Montgomery, Page, Taylor, and Adams counties.

In 2023, the company completed two USDA ReConnect projects in which they brought fiber broadband to over 800 formerly unserved customers in rural Red Oak, rural Bedford, rural Gravity, and rural Clarinda. They also serve the business communities in the cities of Red Oak, Clarinda, Bedford, and Corning.

From all this, FMTC is working to bring economic opportunities to these four counties and our regional community in southwest Iowa with access to a world class ultra-fast, reliable broadband fiber optic network. We are a community partner for all the towns and residents in our service areas because we live and work in the area...just like the customers we serve.

When you can work from anywhere because your Internet is the best in the world you can choose to have the way of life that you want to have. We are here to help all our communities in southwest Iowa grow through the opportunities created by having FMTC fiber internet.
